| No | Do you support United States' combat operations in Afghanistan? | ||

Indicate which proposals you support (if any) for balancing the federal budget.In order to balance the budget,
| Yes | do you support reducing defense spending? | ||
| Yes | do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket? | ||
| Yes | do you support reducing Medicaid spending? | ||
| Yes | do you support reducing Medicare spending? | ||
| Yes | Is balancing the budget a legislative priority? | ||
| Yes | Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions? | ||
| No | Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes? | ||
| While I personally disagree with passing judgment regarding terminating the life of another human, I do believe some egregious acts of criminal behavior deserve the most stringent of punishments including retributive measures. | |||
| Yes | Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth? | ||
| Yes | Do you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation? | ||
| Yes | Do you support spending on infrastructure projects for the purpose of job creation? | ||
| Yes | Do you support the temporary extension of unemployment benefits? | ||
| Yes | Do you support the 2010 temporary extension of tax relief? | ||
| Yes | Do you support requiring states to implement education reforms in order to be eligible for competitive federal grants? | ||
| The measure of Education should be the student's progress, not the test score records for a specific Teacher. Teachers should focus more on training students to THINK, rather than simply MEMORIZE and regurgitate facts. | |||
| Yes | Do you support reducing restrictions on offshore energy production? | ||
| If the restrictions are done with very concrete measures to protect the environment and with the appropriate taxation and local revenue import applied. | |||
| Yes | Do you believe that human activity is contributing to climate change? | ||
| Yes | Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions? | ||
| Yes | Do you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns? | ||
| Though I support the constitutional right to bear arms, I believe some weaponry, chiefly automatic assault weaponry, shoud not be available to the general public. | |||
| No | Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act? | ||
| Yes | Should individuals be required to purchase health insurance, as mandated in the 2010 Affordable Care Act? | ||
| I believe adherence to any and all laws is essential. I believe all minor citizens need to be covered under health insurance, mandated if necessary. However, I do believe adult citizens who do not want to purchase or maintain health insurance should not be subject to mandated coverage as long as they understand they will be subject to paying FULL medical bills on their own as I also support the elimination of mandatory emergency room indigent care services. The truly indigent should be under a bona fide Medicare or Medicaid or state medical plan. | |||
| Yes | Do you support requiring illegal immigrants to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship? | ||
| Yes | Do you support allowing illegal immigrants, who were brought to the United States as minors, to pursue citizenship without returning to their country of origin? | ||
| Yes | Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration law by state and local police? | ||
| Immigration is the backbone of American society. I support immigration reform as long as such reform is equitably distributed through all immigration groups - not just the ones south of the American border. If persons from Canada, Europe, Asia etc. can migrate with little issue, so should be the case for persons from Central America, Latin America, and South America. American laws should reflect what's best for its' citizens. We should not allow 'birth' to be the sole determining factor of citizenship - especially when such 'birth' occurs under illegal circumstances. | |||
| Do you support same-sex marriage? | |||
| I support the concept of marriage in and of itself. I do not support segmenting the concept of marriage into categories. No other group defines marriage with a behaviorial modifier. It is either marriage or it is not. | |||
| Yes | Do you support targeting suspected terrorists outside of official theaters of conflict? | ||
| No | Should the U.S use military force in order to prevent Iran from possessing a nuclear weapon? | ||
| I support overall national security excepting acts which categorize citizenry without cause. All security standards should be based on what is best for the overall citizenry without trampling on the rights of any citizen. Military force should be preserved for purposes of national security - not as protectors of every 'what if' situation. If the standard is military intervention to prevent nuclear weapon development, then the standard must apply to ALL nations, not just select ones. | |||
| No | Do you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts? | ||
| I am open to supporting a degree of private investment opportunities in this regards; however, I believe very strict measures must be enacted to prevent fraud and mismanagement. Similar to 401K plans, there should be incentives for increasing contributions and penalties for early withdrawals. | |||
